    Description

EVERYTHING you need to teach paperless argumentative essay writing for Google Classroom!

    This BUNDLE Includes:

    • Full argumentative workshop: Step by step scaffolding for every element and paragraph: Hook, background info. for introductory paragraph, counter-argument, thesis statement, topic sentences, evidence, elaboration, and conclusion.
    • Thesis statement workshop: In-depth study of thesis statement development with lots of interactive and drag and drop activities, as well as examples.
    • Thesis statement collaboration templates for Google(SUPER EASY TO USE): After students have developed their thesis statements, they can put them on the shared slide templates for peer review. (This activity has helped my students tremendously! When they see how their peers are doing it, they realize how simple it is.)
    • 9 real student sample essays with evaluation kit: Your students can practice evaluating real essays, of varying quality, using pre-made coded feedback comments and a rubric. Sounds tricky, but it's EASY! Students use the rubric and put a code that is relevant to each element. Some examples of feedback include missing thesis, thesis lacks a claim, topic sentences do not relate to thesis, etc. Students get the hang of what is expected in their own essays when they evaluate others', especially if they have help with feedback! This is a game-changer!

    MAJOR BENEFITS OF GOING PAPERLESS:

    • Save time NOT printing hundreds of pages
    • Save tons of paper
    • Cleaner classroom- No bins of papers to collect, store, and distribute
    • Self-pacing and independent learning at a new level!
    • Differentiation can be far greater and easy because you can provide video/audio links, graphics, remove or add slides for certain students, and generally customize to meet learning styles.
    • Students can NEVER lose their work because Google saves every few seconds
    • Grade from anywhere without carrying anything except a laptop
    • Student collaboration is the BEST with Google! They can literally all work together or in small groups/pairs (only on the parts that you choose). There is no learning like learning from peers.
    • You can click into a student's work as they are working and offer comments real time.
    • Students can never claim you lost their paper.
