Description
This is a follow up lesson to the Slip or Trip Murder Mystery! I use this lesson to re-teach my students understand Claim, Evidence, and Reasoning in writing later on in the school year. I've also used it as an extension activity for students that need to be challenged as this one is a bit more challenging than Slip or Trip.
Cross-curricular - can be used in science and social studies classes as well.

- Copy of crime scene photo with story and discussion questions for groups
- C.E.R. graphic organizer with student directions
- Exit slip students can write their argument using graphic organizer information
- Answer to what really happened in the story
