Anne Bradstreet- book companion lesson packet. This packet is designed to go along with Katie Munday Williams' Poet, Pilgrim, Rebel: The Story of Anne Bradstreet, America's First Published Poet. This lesson packet moves students from reading/listening to expressing reading/listening comprehension, then into vocabulary review and expansion, and finally into developing beginning writing skills. Each part builds on the previous activities, scaffolding the growth of language skills in your students. Their own personal thought and perspective is also included in the writing portions; making space for them to interact with the materials in a meaningful way.
