Description

This is a unit plan designed to teach young children about animal habitats. The habitats included in this unit are:

This unit consists of 4 pdf files in a zip file. There is a file all about habitat information and printable projects. There are also files for writing activities, projectable books and easy printing journals.

Science:

  • Habitat Fact Sheets: Colored fact pages and cards with information about each habitats location, weather, plants and animals.
  • Journal Pages: Printable journals where children can record what they learned by answering the questions and illustrating each habitat. There are 3 versions of each journal for different levels.
  • Flip Books: 2 versions of flip books for each habitat and a lift the flap activity.
  • Science Readers: Printable science readers for each habitat along with a response page for each.
