Animal Diorama Project with Rubric

This is a complete animal diorama project, in which the students choose an animal and create an animal and habitat diorama in a shoebox along with a four paragraph report about the animal. The students will write about the animal's characteristics, habitat, diet, and what they learned. The report can be adjusted down to a fill-in-the-blank type of activity if paragraph writing is too difficult for the students; there is a planning sheet included to make this possible.

-a planning form to help the students prepare their paragraphs
-a detailed rubric for scoring the finished projects
-a differentiated planning form for students who may be unable to write paragraphs- they may simply fill in the blanks instead of writing full separate paragraphs.
