Description
Managing Your Anger is an 8 week small group curriculum where the goal is to help students understand the origins of their anger and how to control their tempers. The group meets once a week and provides students with an opportunity to meet with fellow classmates on a more personal level. Students will participate in a variety of activities and projects while focusing on a daily themed lesson. The overall goal is for students to learn that they are in control of their attitude, behavior and success, and with perseverance they can be in control of their emotions.
► Students will learn about their anger, including what triggers their anger, our body's responses to anger, what are common emotional responses to anger, appropriate ways to respond, and coping skills to use. In addition, students will be given anger situations to help them explore effective coping skills and strategies for dealing with anger.
