Ancient Indus Valley Civilization Choice Board

Students will choose 3 different activities from a 3-category choice board to delve into the history, geography, and society of the Ancient Indus Valley! This activity is automatically differentiated and gives students choice in how they want to learn. All of the activities are high-level and require students to research and apply their knowledge in creative ways.

This choice board includes activities on the following topics:

• Indus Valley History
• Mohenjo Daro and Harappa
• Indus River
• Writing - Sanskrit
• Grid cities
• Religion - Hinduism

Project choices include everything from essays to diaries, to 3D models and timelines!

This product contains:

1. Choice Board - Print (or post) the PDF handout and review the choices with students. Depending on their strengths and learning styles, there are various options that will appeal to different learners. Students will choose one activity from each of the three categories.

This choice board works best for students that have access to Chromebooks, laptops, or a computer lab. However, it can be modified for students without access to technology.
