American Symbols mini book AND writing project

I have always had such a difficult time finding something for my younger students, who struggle to read non-fiction texts and therefore, can't use them as a resource.

So here it is...

This product includes 2 parts;

1. An easy to read, non-fiction mini-book, containing information about the following American Symbols;

The Liberty Bell

The Statue of Liberty

The American Flag

The Washington Monument

The Lincoln Memorial

The White House

Mount Rushmore

The Bald Eagle

2. A student research project, where students can use the mini-book as a resource and write and illustrate about each symbol.
