Description

This is a simple and easy to use lesson plan. Have your students watch a wonderful free video on the Battle of Yorktown from the following website:

Click here to view the website.

This video focuses on the problems the Continental Army overcame in trapping the British at Yorktown. The video does a great job of explaining the importance of the Yorktown Campaign. Students will find the video interesting and engaging. From my perspective this is the best student friendly documentary about the Battle of Yorktown and it is only about thirty minutes long. With discussion and answering of questions in class this video worksheet will go perfectly with a forty to sixty minute class period. The video worksheet includes twenty-four questions, an answer sheet and a QR code if you want to have students work on it independently. Word and PDF versions are included.

This lesson plan is included in my American Revolution Webquests and Lesson Plan Collection
