Alphabet Playdough Mats

These Alphabet Playdough Mats are a fun and engaging way for students to practice letter formation and beginning sound identification! Each mat contains both an upper and lowercase letter outline, as well as four beginning sound pictures. However, only two of the pictures belong! Your students will love shaping their dough to fit the letter outlines and covering up the pictures that don’t belong. They will stay actively involved in learning while strengthening their fine motor muscles! Bonus!

You will receive:
-26 Alphabet Beginning Sound Play Dough Mats, one for each letter of the alphabet
-Each mat contains both an upper and lowercase letter outline; students will shape and mold their dough to fit within the letter outline
-Each mat also contains four beginning sound pictures. Two of the pictures on each mat begin with the letter sound on the mat, and two of the pictures do not. Students will use their play dough to cover the pictures which DO NOT represent the letter sound on their mat. You will then be able to quickly check for understanding by glancing at their mat to see which pictures they left uncovered.
-The letter Xx mat is the only exception: the x sound is in the final position of the words (box and fox)

Preparation: Print, laminate, and add play dough! Easy Peasy!
