In this workbook, students learn about Alimentation saine (Healthy Eating) aligned with the new 2019 Grade 2 Ontario FRENCH Santé (Health) Curriculum.
This grade 2 workbook offers an engaging exploration of healthy eating based on Canada's Food Guide, helping young learners understand the importance of balanced nutrition. It guides them through creating their healthy food plates, sorting foods according to the guide's recommendations, and learning about essential food groups like proteins, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables.
The workbook includes fun activities such as food quizzes, exploring favourite foods, and making healthy meal choices. With sections on everyday and sometimes foods, eating out at restaurants, food safety, and awareness about conditions like diabetes, food allergies, and celiac disease, this workbook aims to equip children with the knowledge and skills for a healthy and balanced diet.
