    Description

This algebraic expressions and equations activities bundle includes print and digital activities to help your students master algebraic expressions and one-step equation concepts (a couple two-step resources are also included).

    • At nearly 50% off, the notes, practice activities, and games in this bundle give you a lots of lesson options!

Activities in the bundle require students to:

    • Solve one-step equations using all operations, with whole numbers and decimals
    • Solve two-step equations with whole numbers, using all operations (some answers are negative)
    • Solve two-step equations with fractions

This expressions and equations bundle includes these easy-prep resources:

    1) Algebraic Expressions Math Wheel (print): for notes and practice

    2) Algebraic Equations Math Wheel (print): for notes and practice

    3) Three color by number activities; all with print and digital versions.

    4) 5 sets of Footloose task cards, all with print and digital versions (SAME questions in both versions).

    5) 1 Truth or Dare game- same questions in both print and digital versions

    6) Algebraic Equations Bingo game (print)

What teachers are saying about this resource:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“Who could've come up with these games is beyond me but I am so grateful. I don't have that ability to be as creative with some units and this has definitely been a struggle. I am so happy to have the Algebraic expressions/equations activities where the students enjoyed getting up and out of their seat but doing their work!”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“This bundle is amazing! The perfect activities for my intervention and re-teach groups! A one stop shop - lots of things to keep the kids engaged and busy.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“Love love love this activities! I'm using them to review over our 6th grade math curriculum and they fit perfectly:)”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"I loved all of the activities - they are fun and useful. I see that you made google slides and that is great. But you might want to let people know that they can also be saved as a Microsoft PowerPoint. After opening as google slides, choose 'file', 'download', 'Microsoft PowerPoint'. The products that I've used so far work just fine, but you might want to verify they all do. Your products are amazing! My students asked if we could do more notes like the Expressions Wheel. When do students ask to take notes? They do when using your products!"

Write and evaluate numerical expressions involving whole-number exponents.
Write, read, and evaluate expressions in which letters stand for numbers.
Use variables to represent quantities in a real-world or mathematical problem, and construct simple equations and inequalities to solve problems by reasoning about the quantities.
Solve word problems leading to equations of the form 𝘱𝘹 + 𝘲 = 𝘳 and 𝘱(𝘹 + 𝘲) = 𝘳, where 𝘱, 𝘲, and 𝘳 are specific rational numbers. Solve equations of these forms fluently. Compare an algebraic solution to an arithmetic solution, identifying the sequence of the operations used in each approach. For example, the perimeter of a rectangle is 54 cm. Its length is 6 cm. What is its width?
