What educators are saying

My students love Mrs Casias and the way that she explains things with her YouTube Channel. As a teacher, I appreciate having this support and wonderful resource! This saved a lot of time and made my students more confident while prepping for the EOC.
I wished I had found these sooner. They are very helpful for students who are struggling with concepts as a remediation tool.

    Description

Are you looking for ready to go Algebra 1 lessons for the entire year? Get all of these Algebra 1 guided notes (116 lessons) for the lowest price in this bundle! These notes were built to align with the Algebra 1 TEKS, but many lessons align to CCSS and other standards as well. Each no-prep guided notes lesson comes out to less than $1/piece in this bundle!

These notes get straight to the point of the skill being taught, which I have found is imperative for the attention span of teenagers! They are also a great tool for students to refer back to. Every lesson includes a worked out answer key & corresponding YouTube video.Β

Check out a couple of freebies here to see the style of notes:

    *Quadratic Functions Review

    *Solving Quadratic Equations by Factoring

    *Exponential Functions Graphic Organizer

    *Factoring Polynomials Flow Chart

*Domain & Range Word Problems Notes

These notes are great for in class or distance learning! They include clear instruction, key words & vocabulary, and a variety of examples. The notes include every Algebra 1 TEKS skills, as well as some pre-lessons that will be necessary for students who may have missed instruction during the pandemic. They could also work well with advanced students depending on how you use them, as they are easy to get through quickly, or could be done independently.

While I made these notes specifically to align to the Texas Standards (TEKS), many align to CCSS and other state standards.

Know and apply the properties of integer exponents to generate equivalent numerical expressions. For example, 3Β² Γ— (3⁻⁡) = (3⁻³) = 1/3Β³ = 1/27.
Use square root and cube root symbols to represent solutions to equations of the form 𝘹² = 𝘱 and 𝘹³ = 𝘱, where 𝘱 is a positive rational number. Evaluate square roots of small perfect squares and cube roots of small perfect cubes. Know that √2 is irrational.
Use numbers expressed in the form of a single digit times an integer power of 10 to estimate very large or very small quantities, and to express how many times as much one is than the other. For example, estimate the population of the United States as 3 Γ— 10⁸ and the population of the world as 7 Γ— 10⁹, and determine that the world population is more than 20 times larger.
Perform operations with numbers expressed in scientific notation, including problems where both decimal and scientific notation are used. Use scientific notation and choose units of appropriate size for measurements of very large or very small quantities (e.g., use millimeters per year for seafloor spreading). Interpret scientific notation that has been generated by technology.
Explain how the definition of the meaning of rational exponents follows from extending the properties of integer exponents to those values, allowing for a notation for radicals in terms of rational exponents. For example, we define 5 to the 1/3 power to be the cube root of 5 because we want (5 to the 1/3 power)Β³ = 5 to the (1/3)(3) power to hold, so (5 to the 1/3 power)Β³ must equal 5.
