This End of Course, End of Year, Algebra 1 Practice test / review is perfect to help prepare your students for the end of year Algebra 1 tests and final exams. There are 37 carefully selected problems for Algebra 1 including 23 multiple choice and 14 short answer.

  • Questions are appropriate in preparing for Common Core CCSS Assessments, STAAR Assessments, or other similar Algebra I EOC tests.

Interpret parts of an expression, such as terms, factors, and coefficients.
Choose and produce an equivalent form of an expression to reveal and explain properties of the quantity represented by the expression.
Understand that polynomials form a system analogous to the integers, namely, they are closed under the operations of addition, subtraction, and multiplication; add, subtract, and multiply polynomials.
Prove polynomial identities and use them to describe numerical relationships. For example, the polynomial identity (𝘹² + 𝘺²)² = (𝘹² – 𝘺²)² + (2𝘹𝘺)² can be used to generate Pythagorean triples.
