Having trouble determining what would be an appropriate IEP goal for a student to achieve by next year? It gets complicated! This tool will make it much easier. Simply select the probe type, Grade, type of the year, and the student's score.

The %ile and Rate of improvement are found and calculated for you.

With the rate of improvement, you can determine if you are making adequate weekly progress, or if a more intensive intervention may be necessary.

You can also experiment with raw score goals for the next grade level, since there is not a linear relationship between raw scores, %iles, and grade levels.

Probe Types:

• Oral Reading (OR)
• Reading Comprehension (MAZE)
• Math Computation (M-COMP)
• Math Concepts and Applications (M-CAP)
• Does not include TEL or TEN.

Grades: 3-8
