I have used this activity as a way for students to begin learning about Afro-Latinos during Black History Month in February. But it's perfect for distance learning any time of year.

This resource includes links to 6 YouTube videos and the length of each video is in (parenthesis) next to each link.

Eighteen questions that engage students as they learn about the history and identity of Afro-Latinos through authentic interviews and videos.

Also included is a section about Pitbull and Celia Cruz, which serves as an introduction to future lessons on this past and present icon.
