What educators are saying
I loved this! It teaches fables and morals in such an easy way and even though the stories are written in old english, students where able to comprehend and identify the morals. It's also great to teach new vocabulary words.
My student's were not familiar with fables, so this was a great way to introduce them to this genre. They enjoyed writing their own and sharing them with the class.
Description
Aesop's fables are for kids, right? Wrong! Always intended for an adult audience (and performed at the royal courts of ancient Greek city states), Aesop's original fables are a GREAT way to teach literary interpretation in your high school and upper middle school classrooms. Plus, the fables are perfectly bite-sized for discussion and activities.
