Advertising Techniques

When learning about advertising or persuasive writing, this would be a great activity for some learning centers. You can find lots of commercials on YouTube that use a variety of techniques and are appropriate for school. As the students watch the commercials, they can use their background knowledge to select the techniques used.

You would need to teach what each technique would look like, then model this lesson as a whole group with an example commercial.
