Description
This PowerPoint was originally created for ESE students in grades K-5. It discusses adjectives as part of a thematic unit about parts of speech or as a stand alone presentation about adjectives. The PowerPoint would work well in a Response to Intervention setting or as a critical input experience about adjectives. It is packed with ESE and ESOL support such as highlighted vocabulary, visual illustrations, limited text, repetitive words, graphic organizers, and review. Marzano strategies include advanced organizers, visual and verbal instruction, small chunks of information, stating main idea in a few words, and previewing adjectives. The PowerPoint itself is a critical-input experience. Look for Guided Notes that will be released.
