- Define adjectives

- Identify phrases used as adjectives
- Identify clauses used as adjectives
- Correctly place commas to separate coordinate adjectives
- Recognize and correct misplaced and dangling adjective phrases and clauses
- Use the most precise adjectives in their own writing to avoid wordiness and redundancy
Prerequisite skill: Students should be familiar with sentence analysis (labeling subjects, action/ linking verbs, prepositional phrases, and complements (direct object, indirect object, predicate noun).
