What educators are saying

This was a great resource! I love all the activities that were included to practice recognizing key words in word problems.
This is such a hard concept for my first graders. This resource was truly a lifesaver for us this year! I am already planning on bringing it back out next year.

Description

**Check out the new updates and added worksheets!

Help children develop the skills necessary to solve word problems by exposing them to practice, practice and more practice. This activity is tiered for more practice in the beginning and continued independent practice towards the end. This activity includes single and double digit addends and allows children to think critically for each problem.

Differentiation: While my number choices may not be perfect for all levels of students in every class, I have included the fill in the blank version for the independent practice sheets so you can modify the numbers in the problems to suit ALL students. The 'choose your own number' option allows for a wider range of learners and grade levels.**
