Description

This product contains a cute and middle/high school friendly academic conversation starters poster in multiple sizes for easy printing! These conversation starters are a great scaffold for whole group discussions, turn and talks, small group work, and anything in between! You can even level up the stakes and ask students to reflect on their own use of these conversation starters by having them self assess on a checklist or rubric!

Specifically, this product contains:

  • One 8.5x11in conversation starters poster (in color)
  • One 8.5x11in conversation starters poster (in Black & White)
  • One 12x18in conversation starters poster (in color)
  • One 18x24in conversation starters poster (in color)
  • One 24x36in conversation starters poster (in color)

The three larger sizes that I included (12x18, 18x24, and 24x36) are the three sizes of posters that Staples prints, so it should be easy for you to download the respective PDF, upload it to the Staples website, and go! From there, you can laminate it— if you plan to use for multiple years— or just leave it plain.

I was inspired to create this resource because I teach high school, and my students sometimes needed a visual reminder to jumpstart their conversations and get their discussions flowing, that also fit the aesthetic of an older audience! I hope these posters help your students as much as they helped mine!

Thanks again, and please leave feedback if you have any suggestions or comments for either this resource or future resources.
