Description

This is the best and most engaging "hook" for any unit involving teaching Greek mythology to teenagers that you will ever find. SAMPLE PREVIEW VERSES:

For instance, the story of Cronus is strange:
He murders his father and becomes deranged.
After marrying his sister Rhea for fun,
He eats all his children – all except one.
Zeus escapes swallowing and one day comes home –
Cronus pukes up the five kids, now fully grown –
Then Zeus kills his dad, sealing Cronus’ fate.
Murder, incest, and cannibalism – isn't it great?!

Speaking of incest, there’s Uranus and Gaea:
She gives birth to him then marries him later.
Perverted Zeus has a thing for his sisters –
He marries Hera: he just can’t resist her.
With Demeter, he has Persephone, his niece and his child,
Then lets his brother Hades take her down to the wild
Scary underworld and make her his wife.
Imagine marrying your uncle in hell. What a sick life!
