CLASSROOM PROVEN EFFECTIVENESS! I love to read and I want my students to love it, too. Since I have students with varying cognitive levels, I knew from experience that I had to create a reading motivator, something to get those non-readers on their way to loving reading, too. The best ideas always seem to pop into my head as I’m about to head out the door, or in the middle of the night! With my thoughts scribbled onto a piece of paper (my paper pile keeps growing!), the “Visual Sentence Building for Early Readers” was born! The most exciting part is when, after weeks of planning and designing, I implement it in my class. Watching my kiddos enthusiasm and hearing them talk about each picture and read, is the most incredible feeling – for both me and my new readers! With real-life photos placed on large connecting reading cards, sentences come to life! It's EASY to assemble and use in your classroom today. Just print, laminate for durability, add some small strips of velcro, and your students are on their way to becoming better readers with heaps of pride and confidence! Worksheets are also included for writing/drawing practice to develop ideas for "wh" questions.
