What educators are saying

A great curriculum for ASL 2. It is easy to use and all contained. I think I can Pah did all the heavy lifting of planning, gathering resources and making learning ASL fun! I love watching the skits my students create with these!

    Description

Want to get your students signing with each other fluently? It takes regular practice with scaffolds. Aligned with Signing Naturally Units 7 - 11, you can easily incorporate this conversation practice into your weekly routine to build vocabulary and fluency. With regular practice your students will feel more confident in engaging in ASL conversations.

Each volume has 3-4 pages on a specific topic. Each page has 4 parts:

    1. Vocabulary Review: Students take time with a partner to review the key vocabulary.
    2. Timed Continuous Practice: Set the timer and watch your students practice the vocabulary in a signed conversation. Start with 2 minutes and build up to 5 minutes. The challenge is to sign with each other without stopping. Sentence frames are provided as a scaffold for students who need help.
    3. Create a dialogue: Students work together to create a dialogue using key vocabulary.
    4. Perform: Students perform the dialogues for the class or in small groups.
