Description

A classic way to set expectations at the beginning of a class -- even a class as unique as Student Council. This Contract is clear and articulates the expectations for a ASB class. I taught middle school Student Council for over a decade, so this contract tends to be more for Secondary Schools. I believe it easily adapted for an Elementary experience.

The contract outlines the class information, student expectations, discipline policy, and assessment and grading.

I typically will go over the Contract in the first week of school. Then I give it students to take home and share the information with their parents. Both students and parents sign the Contract and I keep it on file. This can come in handy if there are any disagreements about disciplinary measures.
