AP Students | Lifeline Pass for Stressed Students & Parents
Description
The lifeline pass is the perfect way to solve backlash about workload from students and parents in Advanced Placement courses. Teens are now the most stressed out age group in the United States and AP courses are very intense. In order to help my students with the intensity I offer one lifeline pass per quarter. The students can use the lifeline pass to extend the period to turn something in by 48 hours, without a late penalty. The pass can not be used on a summative assessment like a project. If the students went on a family trip over the weekend or had a late basketball game they know that they can use the pass, at least once (so you know it must have been an important time to use)! The students don't get out of the work but they do get a little extra time. The students staple the pass to their assignment and I keep track of who has used it during the quarter.
You will download an option to print the pass (3 on a page) or use your free Canva account to make edits to the actual pass.
