Description

This resource contains one FULL YEAR (42 weeks) of detailed lessons in PowerPoint for teaching AP English Language & Composition. These lessons coincide with my product "AP English Language & Composition Lesson Plans for an Entire Year", and likewise address all of the College Board standards in ways that promote critical thinking, creativity, inference, evidence gathering, and content-to-world connections grounded in deeper meaning.

You will receive 304 engaging slides for teaching the FULL AP Language course.

The following writing styles are covered throughout these lessons in great depth: rhetorical analysis, open-argument, synthesis, compare/contrast, narrative, persuasive, and literary prose.

This bundle of lessons is designed to be paired with my "AP English Language & Composition Lesson Plans for Entire Year - 42 Weeks." This PowerPoint presentation is jam-packed with engaging Hooks / Do Nows, clear objectives and directions with highlighted Bloom's verbs, critical questions, related symbolic imagery, and multimedia connections between text and the larger world.

All of these materials are also updated to match the most current changes from College Board. Having seen great growth in my classes through these lessons, I'd love nothing more than to see other classrooms benefit from all of this work too. A Table of Contents is also included to make navigating this lengthy resource easier.
