》ACTIVITY for ESL learners: BACK TO SCHOOL (High Intermediate)《
This activity is about going back to school: it is what I do with my pupils of Troisième, the French equivalent to the American 9th grade.
It includes four activities:
- A talking activity to help the students introduce themselves.
- A reading activity based on a poem.
- A talking activity about their activities last summer.
- A listening activity based on a reading of a book about the new school year.
- An “All about me!” document (that I give as homework) (several versions included – choose the one you prefer!)
Included:
- About one hour and a half worth of class (if you include the correction of the homework in the 2nd class);
- A slideshow in a video (MP4), in PDF, or online (link to Canva);
- Worksheets in PDF – easy to print;
- The keys to all the documents;
- Reading, listening, writing, and talking!
