ABC's of Positive and Encouraging Words for All Ages

These are positive and encouraging words for students and teachers to use - one for each letter of the alphabet. There are 67 pages in this download. The download includes the following:
Title page, 26 posters with each word to hang in the classroom, seven pages of words cards with four cards per page, 26 posters with each word and the letter it starts with (ex. A is for... Awesome), and seven pages of cards (with four cards per page and the letter the word starts with) that match the second set of posters. I included both sets so that teachers could choose which set would be good for their students. Print the set you like, laminate and keep for ongoing use.

Teachers can be inspired to use these positive words while encouraging and praising their students. These are a great addition to any character education program. Younger students can learn new positive and encouraging words while learning their ABC's. Older students can be encouraged to look up the definitions of these words, use the words in their writing, and use the words while interacting with others. Also, what a great list to teach students "positive self talk".
