A Long Way Gone Study Guide

A Long Way Gone Study Review Packet is a zip fie containing a review all of the chapters 1-21, of the book "A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Solider" by Ishmael Beah. There are 15 mini packets within the zip file. Each packet includes 8-20 questions, which is 1-2 pages long, and the vocabulary page, and their respective answer keys and cover pages.

Each little packet includes questions from the book that are text based, inferential and evaluative based questions. Each packet also includes a vocabulary section.Each vocabulary section has 8 words to learn using sentences from the book where students need to use context clues to match the word to the appropriate definition, synonyms and antonyms.

Answer keys are included for each section.

One way you can use this with your students is to print the entire thing out for each student, use card stock for a front and back cover, staple the ends and put duct tape over the staples. This creates a nice little workbook for each student to use as they read the novel, and then they have a nice study guide to review for the final test.
