8th Grade Math Resources MEGA Bundle

The different types of activities that are included in this bundle are

1) Differentiated Math Mazes

Students must solve problems correctly in order to draw arrows to help them get from the start of a maze to the end.  Each differentiated math maze resource has three different levels.  Level 1 mazes were designed for struggling learners, Level 2 mazes were designed for the typical student, and Level 3 mazes were designed as an enrichment activity.  

2)  Error Analysis Activities

Students utilize their critical thinking skills in order to find mistakes to problems that have already been solved.  After explaining in words the error that occurred, students solve the problem correctly.

3) Math Murder Mysteries!

Students help Detective Algebras solve a math murder mystery by answering math questions! The more questions students answer, the more clues they will learn to help them to find a murderer! 

4) Scavenger Hunts

After answering a question, students must walk around the room to find their answer. This allows students to know which hung on your wall classroom question to answer next.  

5) Task Cards

Each set of task cards contain 24 problems along with a student recording sheet. These task card activities make great bell ringers, exit tickets, or could be used as stations. 

6) Differentiated Sum-It-Up Activities

What it is Sum-It-Up

The sum of each of the four answers on a Sum-It-Up resource should equal the sum in the middle. If it does not, at least one mistake was made. These activities are great at getting students to SLOW DOWN and really check their work. The included Differentiated Sum-It-Up Activities contains three different levels of problems. In addition, each level has three different versions (A,B, and C). In all, each resource contains 36 different problems for students to practice.

7) Math Puzzles

Students practice mathematics by putting together a 4 x 4 math puzzle.  These puzzles make great formative assessments!

8) Anchor Charts

The anchor charts help students to better understand the 8th grade common core standards.  Each anchor chart comes in color as well as in black and white.  This product also includes directions on how you can enlarge these anchor charts for free! Having the ability to see these charts from anywhere in the room has, in particular, really helped my ELL and SPED students master these challenging concepts.

9)  Other Resources

Includes a wide variety of different types of resources ranging from real world practice problem worksheets to math jeopardy games.  These resources help students receive the practice they need to master the 8th grade common core standards.
