Benefits of Doodle Notes- Whether you distribute the notes as worksheets for small group guided reading time or print and allow students to glue into interactive notebooks, doodle notes allow an engaging format for learning material and introducing ELA standards. Students will color and fill in information, which increases focus and the ability to recall information.

Benefits of Anchor Charts- Anchor charts provide students with a resource to reference when working independently. They support both students and teachers by saving them from having to spend classroom time going over concepts multiple times. I like to display these anchor charts on the bulletin board near my small group station so that students can reference them while reviewing or practicing important reading skills.
Teacher Guide is a detailed overview of this resource and has been included to make this a prep-free and stress-free resource for busy teachers!
Answer Key- An answer key is included for the teacher, however could also be printed for students who need notes filled in ahead of time. With this option, all of the notes are filled in. Students will color, decorate and add doodles to the notes as you review the information with the class.
