7&8 Language LRP and Report Card comments (3 reporting terms)

This resource has long range plans for both the grade 7 and 8 Ontario Curriculum (2023), with curriculum expectations and connections. The LRP is broken down by month, each month featuring a culturally responsive focus of the month (Strand A), grammar and phonemic awareness topics (Strand B), and comprehension/composition tasks (Strands C and D). This LRP promotes the language curriculum as a wholesome topic, rather than as isolated strands.

You'll also find suggested report card comments, which align directly with the LRP, for all four strands and for each reporting term.

The resource can also be adjusted for higher and lower grades, by simply adjusting the grammar points to align with grade-specific topics and adjusting the report card comments accordingly.
