Description

Have you ever felt overwhelmed and just needed a minute to catch your breath? Have you ever wondered how you could keep your class busy while you worked one-on-one with a student or small group? I know I have and that's why I created 7 Minute Whiteboard Videos. They are ZERO prep! No copies! No early finishers! No grading! The best part is, kids LOVE them!

These videos offer a quick, no-prep review that your students are going to love! Each student needs a whiteboard, marker, and eraser. They are a wonderful resource for in-person AND distant learning.

This set includes a variety of skills and is a great review for your kindergartners.

Skills included are-

Starving for Sounds - Squirrel is hungry for letters. He says a sound and is searching for the acorn that has the letter that matches. Your students can help him out by writing the letter of the acorn he is searching for. Click here to see an example of this video!

Raking Up Onsets and Rimes - This whole video focuses on the "at" rime. Rake says the "at" sound then rakes up an onset and says its sound. He pushes the onset and rime together and says each sound again. Your students are prompted to read the word they make, write the word, then draw a picture of the word. The repetition is awesome and perfect for beginning readers and writers. Click here to see an example of this video!

Beginning Sounds - We see a pumpkin patch with letters on pumpkins, but there is a wagon blocking the first pumpkin. A crow says the word and we see a picture of the word. Can your students write the missing letter before the crow pulls the wagon away revealing the letter? Click here to see this video!

Rhyming Words - Two crows fly in and land on a scarecrow. They are holding pictures that may rhyme. They say the name of the pictures and your students have to decide if these pictures rhyme. If they do rhyme, your students draw a happy face on their boards. If they do not, they draw a sad face. Click here to see an example of this video!

Find and Count Shapes - "How many squares can you find?" We see fall scenes and kids count how many shapes they see hidden in the pictures. Be sure to check out the preview because this is a cute one!

Ten Frames to 20 - We see ten frames and students write the number they show. My favorite part about this video is when it's time to check it, we see the whole ten frame is 10 and start counting on from there. Check out the preview by clicking here!

Ordering Teen Numbers - There are three leaves on the branches with teen numbers on them. Can your students write the numbers in order from least to greatest before a gust of wind blows them away? Click here to see this video!

Apple Tree Counting - Count the number of apples on the tree. This video reinforces numbers 11-20. Click here to see it!

2D Shapes - These fall leaves are 2D shapes. Your students write the shape (there is a word bank with a picture prompt) before the answer appears. Click here to see a preview of this video!

Ten Frames to 10 - Your students see ten frames and write the number on their boards. When it is time to check, we hear and see counting in action. Click here to see an example!

Counting to 10 - Great counting practice and excellent practice writing numbers! Click here to see it!

Counting Syllables - Kids write how many syllables they hear in words before the words are broken down for them. Click here to see it!
