My motivation:

  • I designed all of these reading responses because my students were tired of boring, repetitive reading responses. The responses I often saw were too narrow and limiting. Other times, they were geared for a younger age and therefore too simple. My goal was to create high-interest reading responses for a wide range of student abilities, skills and interests.
