Ways to Use this Bundle:  

From the bundle, select the correlating game to use at the end of each science unit to review important vocabulary words.  Or save all three games for an engaging STAAR test prep in the spring!  The game can be played in teams with the whole class, or in small groups.  The teacher can play the game during intervention to work with students on improving their science vocabulary.  Once your students understand how to play the game, you could add it to a science center or station, or your sub tub for a standards-based sponge activity.  Editable cards are included so your early finishers or students needing a challenge can create new cards for their classmates to use!

Don’t Say It! Game – Printable Version Includes:

• 160 science vocabulary cards & student game instructions - Print in color or black and white.
• Editable Microsoft PowerPoint® and Google SlidesTM presentations -  Use to create your own printable vocabulary cards or modify the game instructions.  Differentiate for your accelerated science students by allowing them to create game cards too!

Don’t Say It! Game – Digital Version Includes:

• A Microsoft PowerPoint® and Google SlidesTM presentation with each game card on a single slide.  You could share this digital version in Google Classroom or another learning management system.  Students could then play the game in small groups.  Another idea is to display a slide on your classroom interactive whiteboard.  A team’s Guesser stands in front of the class with his/her back to the board.  The Guesser’s team has a certain amount of time to provide clues about the mystery word.  If the Guesser correctly guesses the word before time is up, that team earns a point.  Then the next team sends up their Guesser for the new mystery word.  

Don’t Say It! Game – for Distance Learning Includes:

• Editable Microsoft PowerPoint® and Google SlidesTM presentations -  Helpful when teaching virtually and using an online collaboration tool like Zoom.  In these editable presentations, the vocabulary terms and clues can be copied and pasted directly into the private chat feature, so only the Clue Giver can see the clue words.

Google Jamboard Scoreboard Includes:

• A Google Jamboard that you or your students can use to keep track of points during the game. You could share a copy of the Jamboard with each student in Google Classroom or another learning management system.
• The Jamboard includes many frame choices allowing for different numbers of teams.  Use this resource for any competitive classroom game!
