Supports GROWTH LEARNING MINDSET:

The bottom of each assessment page allows students to select if they have completed the page themselves, or if they have had a little or a lot of help. This helps students reflect on their learning and develop a growth mindset. Assessments can be used to help students learn and grow, and these pages offer teachers and students that option while still allowing the pages to be used as more of a 'test' style assessment.

UPDATE: These math assessments now include interactive digital versions!! The same printable pages are available as digital versions. They have been prepared for you with answer boxes and updated directions. They can be edited, adapted, and assigned to students via a link.

Use this product for:

-quick beginning of the year math assessments

-collecting proof of student mastery

-test prep and practice

-tracking student progress and data

-showing students’ work in their portfolios

Convert among different-sized standard measurement units within a given measurement system (e.g., convert 5 cm to 0.05 m), and use these conversions in solving multi-step, real world problems.
Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Use operations on fractions for this grade to solve problems involving information presented in line plots. For example, given different measurements of liquid in identical beakers, find the amount of liquid each beaker would contain if the total amount in all the beakers were redistributed equally.
Recognize volume as an attribute of solid figures and understand concepts of volume measurement.
A cube with side length 1 unit, called a “unit cube,” is said to have “one cubic unit” of volume, and can be used to measure volume.
A solid figure which can be packed without gaps or overlaps using 𝘯 unit cubes is said to have a volume of 𝘯 cubic units.
