Description

Are your students still getting -9 + 1 = __ and -9 - 1 = __ horribly confused?

Get ready to kiss that problem goodbye!

Here are 500 worksheets and solutions - you read that right, FIVE HUNDRED worksheets and solutions - to help students extend their understanding of adding and subtracting to negative numbers.

And, yes, at $50 for the entire file, it really does only cost $0.10 for each worksheet and solution page! [Odd pages are exercises and even pages are solutions.]

Everything is designed to be so user-friendly that most students will be able to work and mark their own work independently. This makes it perfect for diverse classrooms, homework, or review.

This is enough to give every student in a school a different set of versions. Even if students try to cheat, they'll have to compare and contrast their exercises with each other and that will cause a ton of learning!

Plus, this file will always be a wellspring of review that you can print off any time.
Infinite Integers, Level 1 should be the beginning of the end of integer fear.

This product is Infinite Integers, Level 2, in which students draw vectors to complete equations.

The Infinite Integers series will put the days of making integer drill sheets by hand to an end.

Warning: Please do not use these drills as rote or monotonous exercises! As a teacher, you can enrich them greatly!

  • "Answer only the equations with negative answers."
  • "When this is too easy, level up!"
  • "Before moving onto the next page, write yourself a comment on how you can improve."
  • "Which questions were the hardest for you on this page and why?"
  • "What are you learning on this page that you could not do before?"
  • "Now that you know what you know, what would you have told yourself a few weeks ago?"
  • "Which two exercises were the most similar on this page? Which two were the most different? Explain."
  • etc.

P.S. Take the "Infinite" name more or less literally. If after buying this, you ever need more versions, message me, and I will send them to you by email.

In Level 1, all students do is describe arrow diagrams with equations. It's pretty easy to get started.

This product is Level 2. Students draw arrows along a number line to complete equations such as -8+3 = ___.

In Level 3, students will answer equations like -9 + 1 = __ and 1 - 9 = __ without diagrams.

In Level 4 (coming soon), students will answer equations like __ + 8 = 3 and 2 = 6 - __ again without diagrams.

In Level 5 (coming soon), students learn to simplify and parse equations such as (3) + (-2) = ___.

In Level 6 (coming soon), students learn multiplication and division with negative numbers.

In Level 7 (coming soon), students answer every type of integer equation from 3 - ___ = 10 such as 4 = -36 ÷ __.
