Description

UNITED STATES FUN FACTS & TRIVIA INTERNET WebQuest.

This WebQuest introduces students to fun facts and trivia questions about all fifty US states. For example, Which state buys more Jell-O per capita than any other place in the US?; In which state was the first McDonald built?; In which state was the world's largest silver nugget found in 1894?; etc.

An ANSWER KEY, student web links and teacher directions are provided. The Internet scavenger hunt can be done as a whole class, in small groups, individually and even at home as part of distance or remote learning.

This resource is not only google classroom friendly, but also includes printable and editable formats (PDF and Word). Choose the format that best fits your needs.

This internet scavenger hunt was designed specifically for middle school students but can be "scaled up and down" to suit other grade levels by simply increasing or reducing the number of questions the students need to answer.

I have included two versions of the same scavenger hunt. There is a 'long version' with fifty questions in total, and a 'shorter version' covering the same questions but broken down into three separate scavenger hunts. Your students can do all three scavenger hunts or just do one, depending on the time available.
