50 States Comprehension Passages {Print & Go}

See preview for one state and the two questions pages, notice they are the same except the RAPP instructions. This is what will be included for ALL 50 states, making up 150 pages.

This set of reading comprehension passages includes FIFTY reading passages, plus short answer comprehension questions for each passage. There are 5 short answer questions and one longer response question for each state. There are also two versions of questions pages, both are the same questions, but one includes the RAPP strategy, which I like to use in my own classroom.

As for the level of these passages, I have written them in a way that I believe that my average and above average 2nd graders could read them. I would also think that they'd be great for 3rd grades and up, especially if you are wanting your students to learn about the 50 states!

This set would be great for small group work, independent center/workstation work, or homework if you wanted your students to work on reading comprehension each day AND learn a little something about all 50 of the states! I learned so much creating these passages and they were so much fun. I'm sure your students will love them, too!
