Description
Your fourth graders will love practicing multi-digit multiplication using an area model with this engaging digital escape room. Students will use their knowledge of multiplying using an area model to solve a variety of puzzles as they navigate through Area 51 to help the alien family escape. Solving two-digit by two-digit multiplication problems, multiplying up to four-digits by a single digit, analyzing errors, and solving puzzles has never been so exciting. Best of all, there is no prep, and the escape room is completely self checking! This entire breakout is automated by a Boom Cards™! FAQ
- How long will this take? That is the hardest question as the answer varies depending on each classroom, student, or group. Some students with a firm grasp on the concepts covered in this escape room will be able to complete the challenge very quickly (20 minutes), others will take longer. The majority of students will take 30-45 minutes. Requiring students to use the show their work will increase the amount of time required to complete the puzzles.
