3rd Grade Timelines, Eras, Egypt, & Mali

This culturally representative product is designed to introduce the concept of timelines to your 3rd grader. This unit was developed to give students a greater sense of self and affirm their identities beyond the traditional Eurocentric social studies curriculum. Your 3rd grader will use timelines to learn about important civilizations in African history. In an effort to grow 21st century leaders, this resource also comes with a bonus lesson on growth mindset, neuroplasticity, and how neuroplasticity enables their brain to grow and learn. A teacher/guide is included to get the most out of the unit and the reinforcement activities.
