Description

We offer you a complete set of 36 guided writing tasks focused on the topic of the environment.

There are a wide variety of writing tasks covering persuasive, informational, explanatory, and narrative writing. This includes tasks for writing essays, reports, opinion pieces, short stories, personal narratives, and poems. It also includes tasks for creating timelines, flyers, and posters.

Some of the topics covered include recycling, reusing, conservation, pollution, waste, deforestation, national parks, and saving water.

Each writing task begins with a writing prompt. This is followed by a space for making notes or brainstorming, and then a table to be completed to plan the writing.

The prompts are designed to be engaging to students, while developing the writing and research skills described in the Common Core standards.

The variety in the prompts allows them to be used for homework, independent practice, classroom activities, or team projects.

Please visit the TestMate Store to see more of our products. We have complete comprehensive workbooks teaching narrative writing and persuasive writing, as well as workbooks and test prep materials covering reading, writing, language, and mathematics.
