    Description

    Elementary S.T.E.A.M. Extensions Bundle
Appropriate for grades 3-7 & Homeschool

    PURPOSE:
These three transdisciplinary extension projects are the perfect addition to your regular math class curriculum! They were originally designed for higher-level and early-finishing students in mathematics! This set of extension projects (originally designed for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders respectively) were created in the hopes of getting students to see the interconnectivity between the subjects of math, science, social studies and technology as well as provide a challenge for students already grasping the mathematical concepts on grade level. These three projects individually purchased would cost you $30, but with this bundle, you can get all three for just $24.99. Each of the individual project resources can be found below:

Multiply a whole number of up to four digits by a one-digit whole number, and multiply two two-digit numbers, using strategies based on place value and the properties of operations. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.
Find whole-number quotients and remainders with up to four-digit dividends and one-digit divisors, using strategies based on place value, the properties of operations, and/or the relationship between multiplication and division. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.
Recognize that in a multi-digit number, a digit in one place represents 10 times as much as it represents in the place to its right and 1/10 of what it represents in the place to its left.
