2nd Grade Diversity and Community

This culturally representative product is designed to introduce the concepts of diversity and community to your 2nd grader. This unit was developed to give students a greater sense of self and affirm their identities beyond the traditional Eurocentric social studies curriculum. Your 2nd grader will learn about diversity across the United States and Africa as well as explore the differences between rural and urban communities. In an effort to grow 21st century leaders, this resource also comes with a bonus lesson on growth mindset and the power of positive thinking. A teacher/guide is included to get the most out of the unit and the reinforcement activities.
