2nd Grade All Year Math Bundle

Are you looking for a way to incorporate more writing in your every day math instruction? Getting students to prove their mathematical reasoning in words can be challenging. This product will give your students ample opportunities to practice explaining how they have arrived at the answer. In this product, students will answer a variety of questions over ALL third grade math standards. Please read everything included in this description before choosing to purchase.

Who is this product for (what grade levels)?

This product is intended for second grade students and is based on all second grade common core standards.

What is included in this product?

• 4 sheets for OA.B.2 : students fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental math

• 3 sheets for G.A.1 : students recognize and describe different shapes, including attributes such as sides and angles

• 2 sheets for MD.A.3 : students estimate length using inches, centimeters, feet, meters
• 2 sheets for MD.A.4 : students determine how much longer one object is than another
• 2 sheets for MD.B.5 : students use addition and subtraction within 100 to solve measurement problems
• 2 sheets for MD.B.6 : students represent whole numbers on number lines for measurement
• 2 sheets for MD.C.7 : students read and write time to the nearest 5 minutes from analog clocks
• 2 sheets for MD.C.8 : students solve word problems and can accurately count U.S. dollars and coins
• 2 sheets for MD.D.9 : students can use measurement data to make a line plot
• 4 sheets for MD.D.10 : students can use data to make picture graphs and bar graphs and can answer simple questions about graphs

Where to start with this product?

It is best to start by doing one or two together as a class or in a small group. I also like to show my students an exemplary example to help guide their writing.
