What educators are saying

I used this during creative writing time so kids could have options when they can't think of anything to write about. Many of the prompts are silly and all have good visuals.
My students love these daily prompts! They actually get excited about creative writing. We do one each day for 10 minutes as a warm-up to our writing block. I love the seasonal themes as well!

    Purpose of Bundle

These writing prompts were created to overcome the struggle of getting upper elementary and middle school students to write creatively. When teachers can find a way to make writing relate to the student, it is a win-win for both. This writing prompt bundle does just that. It takes real-life photographs and creates them to look similar to the ones found on social media sites like Snapchat and Instagram. The students are obsessed with these sites.

The students will creatively write using a writing prompt that relates to a photograph. The photographs are designed to stimulate the imagination with fiction doodle drawings added to them. They will be engaged with interpreting the picture and the added doodle-drawing.

    Enjoy!
