Description

Vision Boarding is my new fav way to ring in the new year! It feels way less "to-do listy" and more about expressing yourself and how you envision yourself in the new year. This is an engaging activity to get students back into the groove of school after winter break. Students will have fun creating their aesthetic (love that they love using that word these days lol). Don't make students create (anotherrrr) SMART goal. Give them a life skill that is all the rage!

What's included:

- student-friendly definition of a vision board

- examples of vision boards

- an (editable) graphic organizer to map out goals

- a list of questions to help students brainstorm

- 6 templates students can pick from to create their vision board

I strongly suggest modeling how to create a vision board by filling out the graphic organizer during a think-aloud. Then, show students your OWN example of a vision board. One year, I had the goal of doing a handstand. My students got a kick out of learning that about me through this process (still can't do one lol).
