2 Digit by 1 Digit Multiplication using Partial Products {Superhero Theme}

This resource includes 2-digit by 1-digit multiplication practice pages in a superhero theme! I have included pages with color and black and white clip art.

This resource includes:
★ Page 3: Multiplication using partial product boxes mini anchor chart (color clip art version)
★ Pages 4 -15: Multiplication practice pages with answer keys (color clip art)
★ Page 16: Summer multiplication dice roll page- can be used at math stations or centers (students write their own equations).
★ Page 17: Multiplication dice roll page- can be used at math stations or centers (students write their own equations). Note: This page does not have a seasonal theme and can be used at any time during the year.

Please note: The multiplication worksheets are the same for both the color and black and white clip art. I included both so you could choose. There are a total of 6 unique multiplication practice pages, the corresponding answer keys, and 1 anchor chart in this set.

This set also includes two dice roll pages that can be used at math stations or centers. Students roll dice and create their own equations. These pages may be used over and over and are great for homework or extra practice.

The number sentences on each page are written horizontally with work space beneath for students to show work and solve. I teach my students to multiply 2 digit by 1 digit numbers using partial product boxes before moving on to the traditional algorithm. This method is a natural transition from using manipulatives or grid paper. Students decompose numbers into tens and ones and use the distributive property to multiply. I have included a mini anchor chart demonstrating the method for multiplying using partial products.

If your students are already using the traditional algorithm for multiplication, these worksheets will provide practice lining up the digits correctly as they rewrite the equation vertically.
